It's important to work your heart, just like any other muscle in your body to live a healthy lifestyle. I tend to get cardio in 3-4 times a week! I love mixing it up, to confuse my body and constantly challenge myself! The treadmill is one of my favorite machines to work on when it comes to cardio. This is a high intensity, 25 minute cardio workout. I like to hit the weights, and finish with this one! Make sure you have water on hand, and really push yourself. Remember, its only 25 minutes, you can do it. Really try to breath and focus on getting your heart rate down during the jog. I didn't include a speed for the jog or the sprint because everyone is different. Test out what your jog speed and sprint speed are and work on increasing them. If this mights be a tough one for you, you can keep it at an incline of 0 your first time around and incorporate the inclines the next time you do it. The incline will really help tone your legs during this workout. Challenging yourself and beating your old numbers is part of the fun. I hope this one is as fun for you as it is for me! Enjoy!

Super fun and fast-paced cardio on the elliptical!
I love cardio! I love it because the results are always awesome. If you keep up with a good diet, and regular exercise regime, you will see results from cardio. Don't expect to see results from cardio, if you aren't willing to cut elsewhere as well. The workouts I come up with and ALWAYS do myself, are made to make you sweat and to increase your heart rate. If you aren't physically able to do so, then you can always modify them to suit you, but don't modify them just because they are too hard. Push yourself, the strongest of people are those who push themselves to the limits, so that their limits are rewritten. I have labeled rows 7 and 11 only because the only reason you will have to pay attention to them, is if you are stopping at 7 or stopping at 11. For those of you who aren't ready for a full 30 minutes, you can stop at 7 and for those of you who are very familiar with a fast paced cardio workout, then you can skip row 7 and proceed to the end. During the three minute intervals you will sprint 30 seconds, jog 60 sec, sprint 30, and jog another 60 before going up in resistance. Make sure your keeping track of the time and resistance and have fun with it! You can pretend your racing yourself, or the people around you. Listen to fast paced music to keep your head in it, and make sure to have water on hand, I recommend taking small sips during your jog to keep hydrated! Good luck and your comments are always welcome! If you enjoyed it, let me know! :)
Row 7 is only for those stopping there, and Rows 8-11 are for those who plan to move from 1-11.

Incline Treadmill: Leg and Booty Cardio Workout!
I know I haven't been on in a while, but I hope that I can get back into the swing of things and continue to add great tips and workouts on this blog! I actually did this treadmill circuit yesterday and my butt and my legs were feeling it this morning. It definitely gets your heart racing, your blood pumping, and calories burning. Try to make it through the 25 minutes. I know it can be tough, so it can be modified. Lower the speed if your having trouble, but try to maintain the inclines. Also, a quick tip, when your doing incline workouts as such, do not hold onto the top of the treadmill. The workout is meant for your legs and butt to do the work and when you hold on your allowing the rest of your body to pick up the slack. Its better to go at your pace than to use your arms to hold on. When your in 3.5-4.0 you should be at a trot, you won't be walking anymore at this point. You may also pick up the intensity by increasing your speed if you feel up to it! Get your booty moving! I hope you enjoy!

Sweat it out with this ab and cardio mix-up!
In my opinion, cardio and abs go hand in hand. It's really important to keep your abdominal muscles tight while you are engaging in cardio activities. You can definitely get a full ab workout during cardio, just from strengthening those muscles in every movement. This is one of my favorite circuits to do because it is a lot of cardio, it gets your body moving, your blood pumping and sweat rolling! I want to explain what some of these are before we get started.
"Soccer ball" Touches- Visually imagine a ball on the ground and you are interchangeably tapping your toes on it back and forth. This is something we used to do when I played and it is great cardio and good for your core.
Heel touchers- exactly what they sound like. You are layer on your back and reaching for your heel from side to side.
Good luck! I had a lot of fun with this one! Don't give up on yourself, if you need to stop and rest, do so! Just make sure that you see the reps all the way through!! ;)

Intense cardio circuit that you can do AT HOME!
Yikes! It's been a little while since I've been able to post anything! I've been in the process of moving and my internet has been down for a short while! I wanted to get on and post a cardio circuit that I did yesterday in the privacy of my home! Its always great to be able to workout in a variety of places. I realize that the gym may not be for everybody. I love being able to incorporate great workouts and cardio for people to do at home! This can always be done in the gym if you'd like, but I know that some people aren't comfortable enough to do that yet. This workout will only be as intense as you allow it to be, so push yourself! Don't give up and don't allow it beat you! Your in your home, no one can see what you look like. Don't let the sweat bother you! So here it is, a really intense cardio circuit that you will either love or hate!

Cardio can be crazy, but I love the Elliptical!
You can either love cardio or hate it but I think we can all agree that the results are amazing! I can't even tell you how much I love to feel the burn of my muscles and the sweat dripping down my back as Im burning it up on the elliptical! I'm sure you all think I'm crazy, but once you start seeing results, you will be addicted. Lets start our week out right with this 50 minute elliptical workout. It is very intense, and crazy, as most of the workouts I post will be. Who is up for the challenge? Lets get our blood flowing, music playing and begin our day with some cardio and sweat! I have been doing this one for a couple of weeks now and I really enjoy it! Remember to drink lots of water, and remember to breath.

I LOVE THIS Intense FAT- burning Treadmill Workout
Cardio, cardio, cardio! I can't say it enough, it is one of THE best ways to lose weight and see results. You can burn tons of calories, which will eventually add up to fat, if you can push yourself everyday to get some cardio in. You have to be willing to put the work in if you want to see improvement, it won't happen overnight but it will happen if you work hard! You are guaranteed to burn fat during this intense treadmill workout. This treadmill workout has been tested and approved by me! I have used it several times and feel absolutely great afterwards. The incline and speed change frequently throughout, so pay attention. The idea behind switching the incline and speed is to confuse your muscles and get your heart rate up and back down to normal as soon as possible. The higher your heart rate, the more calories are being burned, and the faster you can get your heart rate back down when in rest mode, the healthier you are! Your comments are always welcome! I hope you enjoy this intense workout, and can see results as I have!

Cardio can still be intense at home!
Not everyone has a chance to get to the gym, and I wanted to post something for everyone today! If you are unable to get to the gym, definitely try this intense cardio workout. I used to do this several times a week, in the morning, if I knew I didn't have time to go. I recommend doing this at least 20 minutes after you've woken up. Sometimes I would roll right out of bed and get to it. Something about feeling the burn and sweat right away in the morning, can really set you up for the day. Make sure you have water ready, that way you don't have to stop during this circuit to go and get some. You can do it barefoot or with good tennis shoes on, its your preference, but I would remain shoeless. Its very intense, remember to keep proper form while doing squats and take your time the first time around. If you haven't done cardio in a while, this will cause you to become short of breath but I urge you to push all the way through. You will get better the more you do it, and you will feel great afterwards. This is a great wake me up, and you can shower as soon as your finished. It doesn't take much time. If your doing this before work, add an extra 20 minutes to your allotted time frame, I promise it will be worth it! Enjoy and let me know what you think!
If you love the stairmaster, you'll love this circuit!
I wanted to include another "in the gym" cardio workout. Many people are intimidated by the stair master, but there is nothing to fear. It is a large machine that you can easily control. Most stair masters will have the same controls. It is an easy and intense way to get a great burn and sweat on! For this workout you will choose quick start, and control the speed and time yourself. I would initially set the time to 25 minutes, if it is available on the machine you are using, you can then follow the chart to see what speed you will need to be at, at the appropriate times. The stair master is great for cardio and muscle work in your glutes, thighs and calves! If you want to work more on your calves, do the same workout just do half the workout walking on your toes (I have included this in the chart). This will enable your muscles in your calves to work harder with each step. The muscles in your calves are contracting with each flex of the foot and this repetitive motion is what will cause the toning in your calves. I hope you feel the burn and are motivated by your sweat!

The more Intense and heart racing elliptical workouts the better!
The elliptical is one of the best and super intense cardio machines there is! It is great for anyone who may suffer from injuries due to any physical activity. If you want a good butt and thigh burn, this is the workout for you! It will definitely help tone your arms and get your heart racing as well. Cardio is a great way to get the blood pumping and your body moving! I have put together one of my favorite elliptical workouts. If your a beginner, I would start out with the 20 minute cycle, but if your feeling risky go ahead and add on the extended edition! Remember to breath, and always have water available. Don't put more stress on your body than your capable, if you can't do the full 30 today, maybe you can a week from now, or even two weeks. There is no time limit on your health, and fitness! You should always challenge yourself in a fun and healthy way. Lets see what your body is capable of!
